Contest is open to any student that attends Irondale school or church or that lives in Irondale. Grade categories are K-2, 3-5 , 6-8, 9-12.
The theme is: Irondale’s Past, Present, and Future.
Art contest applications must be submitted with the finished 9 x 12 piece by Wednesday , April 19 to your art teacher. Art paper (9×12) is available at Irondale Library if you wish to use it.
The top 15 pieces in each of the four grade categories will be mounted and put on display
in the library from Monday, April 24 through Sunday, April 30.
Ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third place in each category by 1 PM on Saturday, April 29. ( during Spring Fest) Judging will be provided by members of the Irondale Arts Council.
The twelve winning artists will be recognized and their ribbons awarded during a City Council meeting.
