Winners of the first ever Irondale Art Council’s Student Art contest were recognized during last night’s Irondale City Council meeting.
Students from all Irondale schools participated in the contest. Their art was displayed at the Irondale Public Library for the past few weeks and winners were selected for various age groups. The winners were as follows:
- K-2nd Grade – Graham Liles
- 3rd -5th Grade – Jazmine Barley, 1st Place, Maria Lopez, 2nd Place & Viney Ou, 3rd Place
- 6th-8th Grade – Maegen Brown, 1st Place and Koyre Scott, 2nd Place
- 9th-12th Grade – Bryan Chaver, 1st Place, Samantha Norri, 2nd Place and Haley Cole, 3rd Place
