Dragons & Kings & Wild, Wild Things

Storyteller Barry Stewart Mann is coming to our Facebook page (no Facebook account needed) for a flight of fancy into the world of royalty, knights, dragons, and more, through lively, interactive retellings of a wonderful selection of favorite picture books and poems. From Tomie de Paola’s sweet tale of The Knight and the Dragon, through Audrey Wood’s outrageous King Bidgood’s in the Bathtub, two much-loved classics, Robert Munsch’s The Paper Bag Princess and Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are, and verse from Shel Silverstein, we’ll use masks, puppets, costumes, and our own majestic acting skills to bring fantastical stories to life. Recommended for ages 3-10, but everyone is welcome!
