Event organizers are excited about the 2nd Annual Irondale SpringFest which will take place tomorrow, April 30, 2016 in Historic Downtown Irondale from Noon to 6PM. The festival will be a family friendly event with a variety of food vendors, arts & crafts and an eclectic mix of live music performances.
A few of the many highlights for tomorrow include:
- The Irondale Arts Council will have a tent near the Irondale Library and will give citizens a chance to create a one of a kind ” I Love Irondale” piece of art. Kids will be right next door doing their art at Chalk walk. Check out the Irondale Arts Council FaceBook page next week to see the finished piece.
- A special Kids Zone will be open from Noon to 4PM with a vast array of free rides and games. The area will also have free pony rides and an animal petting area.
- Irondale On Move will have a tent in front of City Hall celebrating the recent adoption of Irondale’s first ever comprehensive plan. There will be plenty of free swag, giveaways and drawings to win some awesome prizes.
