The first ever Ms Senior Irondale pageant was a smashing success. Congratulations to Ms. Mary A Keene who was a double winner. She was chosen Ms Congeniality by the other contestants and she was chosen Ms Senior Irondale 2015 by the judges. Ms. Pat Standifer was chosen first alternate.
All contestants showcased wonderful talent, a regal presence and enormous creativity. The audience was also treated to some fabulously talented entertainers, including; Olivia Scarbrough, Donna McGuffie and the dancers from A Time To Dance. Bessemer Police Chief and Irondale resident, Nathaniel Rutledge served as Master of Ceremony.
Several public officials were in attendance to support the event including; Mayor Tommy Joe Alexander, Councilman John London, Councilwoman Donna Pike and City Clerk James Stewart. Councilman Craig Sanderson, David Spivey and Council President Terry Bearden were the escorts for the ladies.
The City of Irondale is proud of all the contestants who participated in the event. These ladies are truly, “Our Most Valuable Treasures !!”
