DESCRIPTION:In the spirit of the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign to educate women about heart disease\, Irondale’s St. James United Methodist Church will host J. Michael Moates\, MD as their guest speaker on Saturday\, February 28\, at 3:00 PM. \nDr. Moates received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University and his medical degree from UAB.åÊ He is currently a full-time staff physician at the Birmingham VA Medical Center working with patients in primary care and with diabetes and general endocrine disorders.
