In a recent study done by Niche Places To Live, Irondale was ranked as the 4th most diverse suburb in Alabama.
The rankings were determined by three factors: percentage of residents belonging to the most represented ethnicity; percent of residents belonging to the most represented income bracket; and percentage of residents belonging to the most represented age group.
