Mayor Tommy Joe Alexander has named Lieutenant Jason Wiggins as acting Irondale Police Chief, effective April 1, 2015. Lt. Wiggins will serve in this role until further notice due to the recent retirement of former Irondale Police Chief Jerry McIntosh. Lt. Wiggins has a wealth of law enforcement experience, solid leadership skills and an undying commitment to serving the citizens of Irondale.
