Please join Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve (RMNP) as their staff and volunteers will help clean-up the Irondale side of Ruffner Mountain along Ruffner Road. They will be collecting trash and debris this Friday, November 18, 2016 from 9:00am to 12:30pm. Volunteers and RMNP staff will meet at 300 Ruffner Road in the Ruffner Ballfields parking lot. Please bring energy, water and a smile!

The City of Irondale is a proud partner of Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve. Thousands of people annually use the Ruffner Mountain – Irondale Trail Head to access over (15 ) miles of hiking trails at Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve.
Ruffner Mountain’s – Irondale Trail Head is located on Ruffner Road across the street from the Ruffner Baseball Fields. There is plenty of free parking available in the parking lot of the ballfields and the preserve is open 7-days a week from dusk to dawn.
