Irondale residents, Terrence Scott and Aaron Sims were recently appointed to serve on the Irondale Commercial Development Authority (CDA) by the Irondale City Council. They received the highest rankings among several extremely qualified candidates that were interviewed.
The Irondale CDA is an independent economic development organization, created by the City of Irondale to acquire, own, and lease commercial projects for the purpose of promoting trade and commerce. They are also responsible for attracting new businesses to locate in Irondale and retaining and expanding existing businesses.
According to Irondale CDA Chairman – Darryl Washington, “We are very pleased with the council’s appointment of Terrence Scott and Aaron Sims to the Irondale CDA. I’m confident their diverse professional skills and business acumen will be invaluable in helping our organization exceed our key organizational objectives.”
