Irondale Library Welcomes March Madness

The award-winning staff of the Irondale Public Library, has planned a vast array of educational programs and activities for the Irondale community during March.  No matter your age, skill level or interest, there is something for you to explore.

A few highlights of March activities include:

  • Thursday, March 10   6:00pm
    With guidance from Julia McNair of Do-It-Yourself Crafts, create your own fused-glass masterpiece! 
    Perfect as a gift, an ornament or just for yourself. Please bring protective eyewear if you have it (eyeglasses are fine).  Ages 14 and up.  $5 materials fee per person. Please register either in person at Irondale library or online here
  • Thursday, March 17 at 6:00pm
    Join us and The Chocolate Biscuit of Trussville for a Downton Abbey Send-Off Party. Enjoy hot tea, scones and tiny sandwiches. Bring your favorite tea cup if you like. You are, of course, welcome to dress the part. We will show the PBS documentary The Manners of Downton Abbey. Free.   • Tuesday, March 8 at 6pm
    Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s 112th birthday with stories, crafts, and games!
