A final draft of Irondale’s Comprehensive City Plan is now available on the Irondale on the Move website. You’re invited to an interactive public meeting to discuss the comprehensive plan on next Thursday, February 11 at 6PM in the Shades Valley High School cafeteria.
After almost a year of studies and Irondale stakeholder input, the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham – at the request of the City of Irondale and in cooperation with several state and federal agencies – has developed a written plan that will serve as a guide to help Irondale grow forward. You can review the Executive Summary first, then seek more detail in the complete Plan.
Be sure you thoroughly check out the Plan before the public meeting !!
